Welcome to the Family Blog!

Not sure how often I will blog here, but I will keep the site alive forever... as long as it stays free. :-)

The reason for the blog is simple: give everyone in the family one place to post family information so we all can go here periodically and see how each of us is doing.

I wanted to eliminate the need for group e-mails being sent (especially when they sometimes contain outdated e-mail addresses) and multiple photo web sites.

Post it all here! Talk about your kids, your pets, your jobs, your need for a better job, your beautiful new or re-modeled home (or need for a new one), your wedding, your marriage, boyfriend\girlfriend, your education, your friends, your travels, our reunion plans, or anything else that comes to mind. I know I am interested in hearing about it!

It also eliminates the need to go back and forth in e-mail and clog up our e-mail inboxes. If you have a site that you want us to see, just post it. We can have a humor section for those that have a lot of time to kill when "playing around on the web". We can have a travel section for our new travel agents in the family, and for those of us that just love to travel (which is quite a few of us!). You name it, we can put it here.

Enough ideas from me, but I do want to make a request for your first response. This blog is dedicated to Mom\Grandma, and I tried to label it with the last names of all of her kids and grandkids (in order). If I left a name out, please let me know. If I can officially change the name, I will. If it is too late for that, then I will leave a special section with this note and the additional name. Also, if you are wondering where "Her Swans" came from, I went to an anagram site and put in the first initial to all the last names. I needed an extra vowel (the "e") to make the words, but I think that Mom\Grandma would have liked to have another legacy in place with\for\from all of the beautiful swans she helped bring to life\give life's lessons to!
